D.Phil Studentship for 2006-2009

Structural studies of the Innate Immune System

The Group is due to move to the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology in Spring 2006. Applications for D.Phil. places for 2006
onwards must therefore be made via the Sir William Dunn School (www.path.ox.ac.uk). We will be seeking a student in 2006 to work on projects related to innate immunity to support ongoing work funded by the MRC and the BBSRC. There are currently one postdoctoral research assistant and two students working in this area at present and we are seeking to appoint another PDRA to be in post before autumn 2006. This student will work within this group of people to add to our efforts to provide structural understandings of the innate immune system and its interactions with pathogens. Our recent work in this area is described elsewhere on this site and in our publications. Please contact Susan if you are interested in applying for this position.
